This fox had just emerged from a den alongside the highway within Algonquin Provincial Park (Ontario, Canada). I saw it strolling around and pulled off the highway, got a few shots of that, then it chose to lie down facing my camera. Perfect!
About The Photographer
Growing up in northern Ontario created within me a sense of adventure and a love of the outdoors. Friends and I would spend hours throughout the summer, biking, hiking, camping, fishing, boating or swimming in the lake. So, it's no surprise my favourite subjects to photograph are nature and wildlife. Both for their beauty and, the latter, because of the feeling of accomplishment when I get "the shot". There's not usually a way to control the animal, the lighting or the environment so when it all comes together in a perfect moment, and the shutter clicks, it's truly a fantastic feeling.
