A Royal Viewing

My daughter was sick and unable to go on the first few game drives of our first and only (so far) trip to an African reserve. As soon as she was well, the kind manager of the Serondella Lodge took us on a special game drive so she could experience the beauty of Thornybush Game Reserve. It was on this mid-day excursion that we saw this amazing lion. He watched us watch him for a bit, and then retired to a shady spot for the rest of the afternoon. I don’t think I’ll ever forget this experience.
