Species: Raccoon | Location: E. R. Simmons Park, Ruskin, Florida, USA
While visiting the local park, E.R. Simmons Park, this little fella happened by looking for snacks that might have been left at the pavilion where I was sitting. He didn't venture very close to me at all, choosing to stay a safe distance from me so he could quickly retreat into the brush should I make any sudden moves. Instead, he chose to simply watch me as I took his picture and some of the surrounding bay waters and landscaping.
About The Photographer

After 40+ years in construction as a project manager, I retired and devoted myself full-time to my passion of photography. I began my company, Scattered Pics Photography, after spending two years of just enjoying retirement and honing my photography skills. While I professionally concentrate on Commercial Photography, my heart and soul is in Nature Photography.
