Life is Sweet!
Species: African lion | Location: Serengeti, Tanzania
The photo was taken in Tanzania, from a safari vehicle on a road in the Serengeti. There were many termite mounds along the road, but this was the only one is use. We stopped for several moments, and the lioness lifted her head to look at us, but was not at all disturbed by our presence. She rearranged herself several times and then relaxed into this pose, apparently deciding that we no longer required her attention.
