2016 Wildlife Photo Contest

Antelope aka Pronghorn, National Bison Range National Wildlife Refuge, Moise Montana, United States
On the Move

Species: Antelope aka Pronghorn | Location: National Bison Range National Wildlife Refuge, Moise Montana, United States

I try to visit the National Bison Range each spring and fall for big game photography. In September, both the Elk and Antelope are in rut, resulting in lots of running and chasing, to keep the male competitors away, and rounding up the females that stray from a male's harem. I was in a good position to pan blur this running male which gives it the OOF background. The Antelope is America's fastest animal only rivaled by the Cheetah in Africa for the fastest animal in the world.
