Pic of this gorgeous Bald Eagle was taken at the end of the Spit in Homer after I had just finished a bear viewing trip to Katmai with NatHab ! I was having dinner with one of John's (owner of the Ursus boat that I was on) employee when this beautiful eagle was coming in for a landing. I had my camera sitting on the table just in case anything interesting caught my eye and sure enough it did. As soon as I saw this fabulous eagle coming towards me, I grabbed my camera and took a bunch of pics, but this is one of a few that I like. I am such an amateur photographer , but love taking pictures and actually thought this one wasn't so bad. I am getting and will continue to take wildlife pics because that is what I enjoy.
