A Great Egret comes up from a strike with a sculpin skewered on the end of its beak. Taken at the brackish pond in the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary.

About The Photographer

I studied film at California College of the arts and now work as a documentary filmmaker and photographer in Humboldt County. My work focuses on wildlife and conservation issues in Northern California and beyond.
