Look me in the eyes
Species: Lion | Location: Kreuger National Park, South Africa
We were on day five of our safari in Kreuger National Park, SA. Lions had eluded us for the previous 7 drives, and we were on our last one. Our guide took us to an area he considered rural and prime for spotting lions - and sure enough we spotted a pride of eight. It was phenomenal. The female in this photo was no more than 20 meters away and was resting.
