About The Photographer

I was born in Istanbul, Turkey however I have been living in the Los Angeles area for most of my life and consider myself an almost native Californian! My father was a photography hobbyist and I have been interested in photography ever since I was a little girl watching him work in his darkroom. So needless to say I come from the film camera era.

I love being behind the lens whether it is to photograph wildlife, landscape, abstract or urban photography. But most of all I'm passionate about being out in the nature exploring its beauty and wonders and try to capture it with my camera. With its colors, texture, movement and light, nature gives me endless inspiration and delight. I have been lucky to be able to travel around the world with renowned nature photographers and learned a lot from their expertise. I guess I can consider myself a wildlife, especially bird photographer at this time.
