Don't ya think I'm cute?
Species: Brown Bear | Location: Katmai National Park, United States, Alaska
We spent a few days at the Hallo Bay Bear Camp, Katmai National Park Alaska. Each day, we ventured out with a guide looking for Grizzly Bears (Brown Bear in Alaska lingo). This bear was fondly named Baby by the staff. Although 3 years old, she remained small by Brown bear standards. At the time this photo was taken, Baby approached our group to within about 20 feet out of curiosity. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of learning more about the awesome creatures and to enter their world for a brief time.
