Species: blacktail deer | Location: Olympic National Park, United States
My first real outing in about 2 years and the first to the state of Washington as a photographer. I spent 8 days in the Olympic National Park and surrounding area that, as of this date, was a trip of a life time. I actually had a list of what I hoped to capture and on my first day in the mountains I was able to start marking off some of the scenarios on it. This was taken on Hurricane Ridge which is near Port Angeles, Washington in the Olympic National Park.
About The Photographer

I'm an avid nature lover. I gave up my gun for the camera when I was in high school. I started photographing around the rivers, lakes and woods in Florida and realized that this is how I wanted to hunt from now on. Now living in New York City (crazy I know) I have found opportunities to keep up my craft a lot more challenging and becoming a little more focused on people and pets (I like pets...and people too). When I get a chance to go to the woods or parks though it's hard to hold me back because they seem to come only on rare occasions any more.
