On The Hunt
Species: Great Horned Owl | Location: Grand Teton National Park, United States
Driving down Moose Wilson Road in Grand Teton National Park looking for Moose and spotted this beautiful Great Horned Owl in flight. It landed about 50 yards away.
I grabbed a camera and walked about 10 yards towards it and the Owl seemed to spot something across the field and took off in flight. It swept down and grabbed its prey and flew off again.
