Black Rhino, Serengeti Mara River area , Tanzania
Mama's Boy Black Rhino

Species: Black Rhino | Location: Serengeti Mara River area , Tanzania

We were on safari at a tented camp on the edge of the Mara River. Our guide, received a call from another jeep that a mother and baby black rhino had been sighted however they lost them. We really wanted to see them and searched for almost 2 hours in a deep thicket area. We had almost given up when we cam upon the two of them nestled together in the thicket. It was a beautiful sight that we watched for an hour.
