Back Off Buster
Species: King Penguin & Fur Seals | Location: South Georgia Island, South Georgia Island
We have no idea what sparked this discussion between the King and the seals. Maybe it was a bad day fishing. Whatever the reason the encounter was loud, brief and very one-sided. The fur seals on South Georgia are nasty pieces of work and until we witnessed this, we would have bet to the seals every time. Bu this penguin saw the mother and pup off in a very short time leaving no doubt in anyone's mind who really ruled the beach!
