Polar bear mom and cub
Species: Polar Bear | Location: Churchill, Canada
Mom and cub were lying curled up on the other side of this frozen pond. We had been watching them for quite a while when mom suddenly reared up and pushed her cub out on the ice. After a few moments sampling the air for scents she led him straight toward us. The sky had just cleared letting the setting sun create a nice glow and shadow.
