About The Photographer

Angela P. Schapiro's work has been widely exhibited and published. She is the official photographer of Maverick Concerts, Inc., the oldest continues summer chamber orchestra festival in the US. She is also the official photographer of the Ulster County (NY) Chamber of Commerce and the Woodstock Land Conservancy. She is the Managing Editor of SHARPEN, the American Society of Media Photographer's NY online magazine.

A public speaker, she is bi-lingual in English and French and has a working knowledge of German and Spanish.

Prior to becoming a photographer she was a senior executive with over 20 years experience with financial, management and marketing responsibilities across various businesses and business segments and as a producer of and adviser on the development, production and distribution of theatrical motion pictures and TV movies. She still, on occasion, accepts assignments with a focus on strategic planning, project management, negotiation and acquisition.

Clients include Fleet Bank, The Byrdcliffe Colony of the Arts, The Womens' Worldwide Cycling Grand Prix, The Woodstock Artists Association & Museum, Carl Icahn, The King Faisal Foundation, The Saudi Arabian Development Corporation, The Gibson Group (New Zealand), Paper House Productions.
