Species: Great Egret | Location: north of San Antonio, TX, USA
I accidentally found myself in the middle of a great egret rookery, where there were hundreds of nests and hundreds of hundreds of egrets. This egret delighted me, by flying close. This wasn't inside a park or reserve, just 100% pure local flavor.
