When viewed in its natural habitat the polar bear is such a majestic looking animal. When bathed in the morning sunlight this bear took on an additional glory. While words cannot convey the emotions one feels when coming upon such a sight, this photo tries to do it justice.
About The Photographer
I recently returned to photography upon my retirement from education. After taking thousands of photographs this past year I have come to the realization that my favourite subject matter is the play of light in nature. Despite having several cameras I have found that my favourite is my automatic digital camera. It has proven to be the most effective in capturing light and movement in a fleeting instant.
