Species: Tiger (Panthera tigris) | Location: Ranthambhore National Park, India
This is a female tiger known as Noor, cooling off in a small body of water in India's Ranthambhore National Park, on a very hot day. We watched her between two trees in the distance, then she got up and slowly walked toward the water, had a drink, then backed into the water. She spent close to an house cooling off on a very hot (112 degrees F) day.
About The Photographer

I am a passionate amateur photographer who loves to travel the world with my cameras. I love Yellowstone National Park, Kenya and Botswana. I usually photograph wildlife and landscapes. All profits from photos sold on my website are donated to a scholarship fund to help deserving pasturalist students in Kenya who otherwise couldn't afford to attend high school.
