During a recent trip to Churchill we were impressed to see so many polar bears. We had spent one overcast day on the tundra and my photographs appeared lacking. On this day however, mother nature was particularly cooperative and I took exceptional delight in trying to compose the perfect shot given the morning sunlight.
About The Photographer
I recently returned to photography upon my retirement from education. After taking thousands of photographs this past year I have come to the realization that my favourite subject matter is the play of light in nature. Despite having several cameras I have found that my favourite is my automatic digital camera. It has proven to be the most effective in capturing light and movement in a fleeting instant.
