While in the Everglades shooting wildlife I happened to see this owl in the tree and waited till it turned its head around facing me so I could get a straight on shot.
About The Photographer
I have been photographing for over 40 years mainly in B&W but switching to digital in 2003. I studied with many noted photographers primarily to gain expertise in printing. I taught workshops in darkroom techniques, photographing, and travel photography, and have run tours. I have lectured and had one man shows and my work is in various collections. My main love is to travel and capture the essence of the destination.
