About The Photographer

I have been interested in photography for over 50 years, but I credit my wife for leading me to wildlife photography. It was a long road to getting these pictures, starting with volunteering at a butterfly exhibition, then an aquarium as a diver and lastly at a zoo where I have helped care for most hoof stock, monkeys, birds and now large cats. This has lead to two incredible trips to my favorite place in the world, Kenya. Photo safaris are opportunities to observe and photo a large variety of species in a perfectly natural environment. I know I’ve taken hours of video and nearly 8,000 pictures in our two visits. Hope you enjoy these.
