Lions, Chitabe, Botswana
A Stolen Dinner

Species: Lions | Location: Chitabe, Botswana

The pictured lions discovered an antelope that a leopard had put up in the tree for a later meal. The lions climbed up the tree, and one of them carefully took the antelope down, making sure that it never left the grip of her jaws. She wanted the first bites of it. As this theft unfolded, the poor leopard watched forlornly, perched in a tree at a safe distance.
