Brothers Eager to Hunt

These young male lions were part of a small pride in pursuit of a cape buffalo herd. The boys were eager to start the chase, but their mother, aware of the herd's distance and the intensifying heat of the day, displayed greater patience. She put them in a cool place to wait for a more opportune time.
