Mountain Lion

I was hiking along a forest service road in Montana. I heard a snorting sound in the forest to my left, presumably from a deer. I turned towards the noise and saw this mountain lion staring in the direction of the noise, about fifty feet from me. When I removed my camera from my case, he swiveled his head towards me, keeping his left ear cocked towards the noise. I snapped the picture and moved on. When I circled back later I saw the lion again carrying a small deer through the forest.
