Species: American toad | Location: Binky Lee Preserve, Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, United States
I heard toads croaking very loudly one April morning as I was on a hike at Binky Lee Preserve in Chester Springs, PA. I followed their call and came out to a stream that bordered the preserve. American toads were out in numbers that morning and this one in particular seemed curious at what I was doing there. He floated out to a stick and held on to watch me as I took some picture of him.

Amateur photographer...nature lover. I spend as much time as possible outside to experience nature and maybe get some pictures of wildlife...just something I love to do. I started to get feedback that I should set up a facebook page for my pictures, so I set one up about a month ago to share them. I don't have a lot of followers yet, but that's ok. I just want to do anything possible to keep people interested in open space, conservation and nature...no matter how small. It's really important to me and my wife.
