Summer Tanager, Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States
A colorful Beauty!

Species: Summer Tanager | Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States

A rare bird to northeast Pennsylvania. A juvenile, male Summer Tanager. It only stayed for two days but I was able to view/photograph it numerous times. This was a lifer for me and such a treat to see!

About The Photographer

I am an amateur photographer. My father bought me a 110 camera when I was about 12 years old and I've been taking pictures ever since. In the 1990's my family bought me a Minolta 35mm camera which I used to take thousands of photos. I just love taking pictures of anything ... family, animals, nature.
