I snapped this pic of a Scarlet Tanager while vacationing in Maryland. It rained most of the weekend, creating dull gray skies. This small bird flew from tree to tree, brightening the sky with its vivid feathers. There was no altering the color of this bird digitally- it was the most vibrant red I have ever seen on a bird.
