Cheetah Mom & Teenager
Species: Cheetah | Location: Masai Mara, Kenya
One of the animals I most wanted see on my trip to Africa was the Cheetah. We found this mom and her almost grown cub. The spent quite a bit of time on the top of the hill watching. They eventually came down the hill towards what by then was quite a caravan of safari vehicles. Just a couple seconds after this photo the mom took off behind our van and make a kill of a reed buck. Almost immediately, the kill was taken away by a lioness. It was an absolutely incredible piece of nature to witness.
