Flamingo, Ornithological Park Pont de Gau, France
Fancy Flamingo

Species: Flamingo | Location: Ornithological Park Pont de Gau, France

The Camargue region of the south of France is known for its white horses, black bulls and pink flamingos. Thousands of flamingos were in the ornithological park--a literal sea of pink! This photo is actually the head of one bird in front of the spray of tail feathers of a bird behind it. But I thought the tail feathers made a beautiful crown for the bird in the foreground, especially gorgeous with the water drops beading on its face.
