I love to see snowy egrets get their feathers all puffy. As I was photographing at a Rookery in New Iberia, Louisiana, I noticed a snow egret getting aggravated because another bird had landed too close to his nest. This picture was taken as the snowy egret was defending his territory.

I do photography as a hobby. I enjoy wildlife photography especially birds. Photography gives me the opportunity to be outdoors enjoying how amazing nature can me. I am a retired educator who enjoys quilt making as well as photography.
