This baby chacma baboon was rough-housing with two little friends. They were tumbling and vocalizing, and having a grand time. All of a sudden mama, who had been monitoring the play, came over and scooped him up as if to say, "Calm down now!" And you can see the result... He was protesting!
About The Photographer
I am a self-taught photographer who has been taking pictures since my teen years. I've always loved capturing the dimensions of a scene and especially conveying the emotion of what I am seeing! This is never more true than when I am shooting wildlife and nature subjects. My paying work is as a Public Health Educator, but when I retire I would like to devote more time to my passion of photography. Since I went to Africa a couple of years ago, the time and quality of my photography adventures has increased.
