We spent quite a bit of time admiring 5-7 lions who had taken refuge from the flies by climbing up in a tree. This cub was kind enough to pose for his portrait.
About The Photographer
Diane Lewis is an amateur photographer, who loves photographing wildlife...whether it's an exotic location like Tanzania or Churchill, Canada or something closer to home, like the migratory birds in northwest Ohio. I look for something unusual and take to heart the advice from an admired wildlife photographer: Try to get the animal doing something more than just sitting there.
