Species: Anhinga | Location: Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive, Lake Apopka, Florida, United States
Driving along the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive in Lake Apopka, Florida. I am there just after sunrise and along the right side of the road is a canal with several anhinga (also known as the snake-bird, darter or water turkey) were diving for fish. This particular Anhinga was having a devil of a time trying to balance this catfish (I'm guessing) and position him so he can be swallowed whole! I chased him all up and down the canal until I got a few shots, this was my favorite!
