Species: Long-Beaked Common Dolphin (Delphinus capensis) | Location: San Diego, CA, USA, USA
On a whale-watching tour off the coast of San Diego, CA, we encountered a mega-pod of dolphins. Hundreds of them swam and leapt out of the water alongside our boat. This one in particular could jump exceptionally high, allowing me to snap his picture while airborne.
