Species: Polar bear mother and cub | Location: Churchill, Manitoba, Canada
Taken in early morning from the deck of the Tundra Lodge on Nov. 11, 2015. This period was peak for bears congregating near Hudson Bay, waiting for it to freeze over. We had 100's of photo-ops during our stay, but the warm light and long shadows made this image most appealing.
