Species: Wildebeest | Location: Masai Mara National Park, Kenya
I was blessed enough to witness a 300,000+ wildebeest/zebra crossing (with 25 croc kills) of the Mara River in Kenya this past September. And on top of it, after days of watching much smaller and less dramatic crossings I told my guide the next chance we got to grab this spot along the bank of the Mara up the river from the more traditional crossing area. But this time the animals moved down the river to this position where they started literally launching themselves from the 15-20 foot high bank. In this case this little guy just dropped from the highest point on the bank...
