Seeing the giraffe with her baby was a stunning sight. I did not expect to be so impressed by seeing a giraffe in the wild and they had such a lasting impression on us. The giraffes were graceful and seemed so shy. To see one with her offspring was one of the highlights of our trip.
About The Photographer
On our recent trip to Botswana in December of 2015 I had a chance to take many pictures during our 2 week stay on safari. It was an amazing trip and since I am an amateur photographer I hoped to get just a few really good shots. The animals were stunning and my pictures turned out so much better then I could have hoped for. With the help of my daughter I took these pictures and created a photo book to show the journey of the trip and have received many positive comments and questions about the animals and how real they look. I truly am an amateur but learned that capturing pictures at just the right moment is a joy and and a challenge which I plan to continue.
