Blue Wildebeest (Connochaetes Taurinus), Near Tubu Tree Camp, Botswana
Kicking Up Dust at Sunset

Species: Blue Wildebeest (Connochaetes Taurinus) | Location: Near Tubu Tree Camp, Botswana

While on the Secluded Botswana Photo Safari, we were out near sunset looking for backlit zebras (trying to catch some rim lighting on those "mohawks" they have). However, we came across these wildebeest kicking up dust and the setting sun caught the dust and lit it up like there was a wildfire!

About The Photographer

A wildlife and nature photography enthusiast. I've travelled with NatHab to Botswana and Galapagos on photo specific trips. I use mostly Canon equipment. I look for those shots that have an emotional appeal....make you feel like you were there, or want to be there.
