Elk, Yellowstone National Park, USA
Bull Elk

Species: Elk | Location: Yellowstone National Park, USA

As twilight quietly arrived in Yellowstone, the wildlife became more visible. This magnificent Bull elk was stood across the river a little distance away from his herd, watching and guarding. I was so fortunate when he stood in the the long grass that was lit by the setting sun and became beautifully silhoutted

About The Photographer

I am English of origin but am happily living in the beautiful NW of the USA. Both countries hold so many treasures from the rolling hills of England and the miles of beautiful coastline to the dramatic and varied landscapes here in the USA. I am an RN who loves to spend my free time out and about taking photos and enjoying this wonderful land and the wildlife it holds.
