Species: Green Sea Turtle | Location: Kona, Hawaii, United States
Went for a quick snorkel in Kona, when I stumbled upon this green sea turtle on the reef. I sat and watched him eat for several minutes when his attention turned to my camera. He really loved seeing his reflection in my dome port and a he stay with me for quite some time before getting bored and swimming off. He was very photogenic and I couldn't have asked for better conditions, the reef was pristine and the water was crystal clear! What an amazing encounter, probably my best turtle encounter to date!
