Species: Minke Whale | Location: LeMaire Channel , Antarctica
It was a few days into the expedition when we were going through this area in Antarctica called the LeMaire channel, an absolutely breathtaking place. Black mountains covered in snow, the tips of the mountains covered in a blanket of mist and there we saw this Minke Whale. It followed our ship for about 2 hours, swimming from one side to the next and then coming up to get a look at us, it was almost like he was playing with us. It was the highlight of my expedition
