Grizzly with Fresh Lunch
Species: grizzly bear (brown bear), Ursus arctos | Location: McNeil River State Game Refuge and Sanctuary, Alaska Peninsula, Alaska, United States
Image was captured at the McNeil River Falls as the bear left the edge of the falls with a fresh caught salmon at the same time shaking the water from its head casting a halo of spray , as a gull waited for leftovers. I was a lucky lottery permit winner which permitted me to view and photograph bears at the falls for a four day period.
