Hanging Out
Species: Polar Bear | Location: Churchill, Churchill, Manitoba Province,Canada
After many months of not eating, polar bears gather along the shores of Hudson Bay awaiting the coming of the ice to feed on seals once again. During this time, the bear conserve precious calories by simply 'hanging out'. This particular bear seemed content to nibble on a tundra shrub before his exodus to find more suitable prey. To film him in his natural habitat was on my bucket list for many years and the wait was well worth it.
