Great White Shark, Guadalupe Mexico, Mexico
Man in Grey Suits

Species: Great White Shark | Location: Guadalupe Mexico, Mexico

Miles off the coast of Baja California sits Guadalupe Island, home of the great white shark. I had the amazing pleasure to dive with these unbelievable animals in their own territory, under pristine conditions. It was amazing, several large sharks hung around the cages during my time there and we were able to identify several well known individuals as well as a few new comers. These inquisitive hunters came in quite close to check us out, it was an amazing experience to stare this apex predator right in the eye and it really makes you wonder whats going on in his head. These graceful animals are very misunderstood, they are not the aggressive man killing animals that Hollywood portrays them as. I felt very at ease being in their presence and I've developed so much respect for this animal. Definitely an experience that I will remember for my whole life.
