Species: Spotted Burrfish | Location: John Pennekamp State Park, United States
The beautiful, iridescent eye of the Spotted Burrfish (Chilomycterus atringa). I chanced upon this little fellow hovering around some soft corals on Wheeler's Reef (Key Largo, Florida). He was quite helpful and posed for me. As soon as I took this shot, he hid behind a soft coral once again--"you have your photo, human...now move on".
About The Photographer
I have always enjoyed combining my love for travel and photography. I am an amateur photographer...but every now and then even an amateur is rewarded with an awe inspiring site of nature.
