Tender Moment
Species: Panthera leo / African lion | Location: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
We had been following a single lioness and her three cubs for a while and she finally ascended an acacia tree and called for the cubs to join her. Two of them scampered right up but the third appeared to be uneasy about making the climb. After much coaxing from mom, he finally made it up and there was a nose-to-nose greeting.
