Milne-Edward's Sifaka
Species: Milne-Edwards Sifaka | Location: Ranomafana National Park, Madagascar
Others in my group were pushing through the bush trying to get closer to this sifaka, but I held back due to my strongly held belief that we should only observe wildlife without disturbing them. Next thing I knew, he leapt through the trees past everyone else and landed on a tree right in front of me. He posed for me for around 30 seconds then went on his way. It was a very special moment.
