Marshy Moose
Species: Moose | Location: Lake City, Colorado, United States
While on a multiple-day trip to climb 4 fourteeners in the San Juan Mountain Range in Southwestern Colorado, we spotted this moose in a marsh. The contrasting colors of the moose and the orange/brown plant life caught my eye. The moose was content in the marsh and was dunking his head to get bites to eat.
