2016 Wildlife Photo Contest

American Pronghorn, Grand Tetons National Park, USA
American Pronghorn Fawn

Species: American Pronghorn | Location: Grand Tetons National Park, USA

This American Pronghorn Fawn was in an area near Jackson, WY. We were part of a Natural Habitat photo tour of Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons National Parks. Our excellent guides brought us to this area for viewing and photographing wildlife and we came upon a group of American Pronghorns including this cute fawn. I didn't know that the American Pronghorn was the fastest land animal, second only to the Cheetah. But they can apparently run very fast and very far, which I found most interesting.
